MEMBERSHIP
Joining the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy Trieste Lodge is a rewarding experience that unites all of those in search of an organization that not only prides themselves on century old traditions, but also in the ability to act as a progressive body within the community at large. Boasting a membership of over 300 members, the Trieste Lodge is a fixture within the community. There are three types of memberships which include:
Full Member
Individual must be of Italian descent whether by blood or marriage. Must be 18+ and be nominated by a member in good standing within the order. Will possess full voting privileges, including opportunities to run for executive positions. Cost is $75 per person, per year.
Social Member
Individual is not of Italian descent by blood or through marriage. Must be 18+ and be nominated by a member in good standing within the order. Individual will not possess voting rights, and will not be able to run for executive positions. Cost is $75 per person, per year.
Student Member
The same rights as a Voting or Social member (depending on qualification requirements), however if the student is under the age of 25 and still attending school (college/university etc.), there is no cost for membership.
All membership payments must be paid no later than March 1st of each year. Membership fees pay for the day to day operations and upkeep of our hall, provide members with a Christmas dinner and subsidize the Children’s Christmas party. DINNER MEETINGS
Monthly dinner meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September to June (excluding December). Meetings begin at 7:00 pm sharp and doors open at exactly 6:00 pm.
